Connect your Google accounts, select your Classroom courses and choose a destination folder. Classroom Material Downloader checks for new attachments and downloads available materials to your computer.

Choose what syncs

Connect or disconnect accounts and courses. Set your folders and update interval, pause automatic checks, or sync manually.

Materials only

Course folders contain downloaded materials. Announcement text is not exported into your folders. Private sync metadata stays in the app profile.

Optional local AI

Use a locally installed Ollama model to help classify documents. AI is optional; the app can also organize materials using rules.

Why Google access is needed

The app reads your account email to identify each connection, lists your courses, and reads course materials, assignments and announcements to find attachments. Read-only Google Drive access downloads those attachments, including exports of supported Google documents. The Drive permission is broader than the selected courses; the app uses it to retrieve course attachments.

Google sign-in happens in your browser. Your Google password is not entered into this website or the desktop app. Account connections and downloaded files remain on your PC; this website does not receive them.
